Some organisations are required to train their employees to comply with Health and Safety demands, the majority however offer the course as an opportunity to make their members/clients safer whilst on or near the water and to improve confidence and competence, besides keeping them on the right side of the law.
Many people going afloat are more confident knowing that their training makes them compatible with the Search and Rescue organisations. The course is compulsory for the Royal Yachting Associations Yachtmaster qualification. If you would like to discuss a training opportunity, book a course date or have any questions please contact us. |
